Welcome to the Central Florida Orff Chapter!

 

The Central Florida Orff Chapter of the American Orff-Schulwerk Association is dedicated to supporting music educators through professional development, collaboration, and the exploration of the Orff-Schulwerk approach to music education. We provide opportunities for teachers to grow their practice through workshops, teacher education courses, and opportunities to connect with fellow local music educators who are passionate about creating meaningful and engaging music experiences for students.

Rooted in the Orff-Schulwerk philosophy of active music-making, our workshops give teachers tools that encourage students to experience music through singing, speaking, movement, improvisation, and instrumental performance. We believe that professional growth for teachers leads to more creative, inclusive, and inspiring music classrooms for all learners.
